Collection Digital was inspired by my experience living in London and working as a collection assistant for small museums and individual collectors. The project focuses on creating an easy-to-use digital platform to manage, present, and explore small to medium size collections, where visitors can search collections and collectors can share their treasures via social media. The design process involved structuring content, visual hierarchy, and interaction patterns to ensure a seamless user experience.
The Victoria & Albert Collections API was used to populate the search function and prototype the user experience.
